Hill Tribe Volunteering in Vietnam

Join Buffalo Tours on a trip that’ll take you deep into Vietnam – you’ll lodge with a local hill-tribe, spend a night cruising in Halong Bay, and trek through the rainforest of the Mai Chau Valley.

At the trip’s conclusion, each participant joins up with a pre-assigned volunteer project. Volunteer placement is determined by each individual participant’s skills and interests and the range of options to choose from is impressive – work with children at the Thi Nghe Orphanage, help educators teach hearing-impaired children at the Thuan An Centre boarding school, or work alongside the staff and veterinarians of the Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station to care for animals rescued from illegal traders.

The program offers basic language lessons at the beginning of the trip; time commitment for the volunteer portion of the program ranges from 2 weeks to 1 month, depending on your schedule.
